BSF ASI Stenographer and Head Constable Examination 2025 Vacancy Details Total Post: 1752

• Candidates must have passed the 10+2 (Intermediate) exam from any recognized board in India and possess stenography skills.

Document Required

For the upcoming stages, particularly document verification, candidates should prepare:

• 10+2 (Intermediate) mark sheets and certificates.
• Proof of age (Birth certificate or 10th certificate).
• Identity proof (Aadhaar card, Voter ID, or Passport).
• Caste/category certificate (for SC/ST/OBC/PWD if claiming relaxation or fee exemption).
• Stenography or typing certificates (for ASI Steno and HC Ministerial, respectively).
• Recent passport-sized photographs.
• Domicile certificate (if applicable).
• BSF CBT admit card and PET/PST result copy.

Ensure documents are scanned and ready for upload in the specified formats.

Selection Process

The BSF recruitment process is multi-staged to ensure only the best candidates are selected:

• Physical Standard Test (PST): Measures height, chest (for males), and weight. Male height: 165 cm (with relaxations for certain categories); Female height: 155 cm.
• Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Includes running (1.6 km in 6:30 minutes for males, 800 meters in 4:45 minutes for females).
• Computer-Based Written Test (CBT): Tests General Awareness, General Intelligence, Numerical Aptitude, Clerical Aptitude, and Basic Computer Knowledge. Admit cards will be released soon.
• Skill Test:
  • ASI Steno: Stenography test (English/Hindi as per criteria).
  • HC Ministerial: Typing test (10 minutes, 35 WPM English or 30 WPM Hindi).
• Document Verification: Validates educational and identity documents.
• Medical Examination: Ensures physical fitness as per BSF standards.

Shortlisted candidates from PET/PST (2,75,567 for ASI Steno, 8,526 for HC Ministerial, and 2,67,041 for Havaldar Clerk in Assam Rifles) will proceed to the CBT.

  • Click the link titled “Result of PST/PET for the posts of HC (Min)/ASI (Steno) & Havaldar (Clerk)”.
  • Download the PDF and use Ctrl + F to search for your roll number or name.
  • Alternatively, log in using your Enrollment Number, Registration Number, or Date of Birth.
  • Save and print the result for future reference.
