- Domicile Certificate: Proof of Bihar residency

Selection Process- Based on Computer Based Test (CBT) and Merit List
- CBT: 75 marks (objective questions in Hindi/English, 75 questions, 1 mark each, negative marking of 0.25 for wrong answers, duration 75 minutes)
- CBT marks weighted at 0.8 (e.g., 50 marks become 40 after weighting)
- Work Experience: Up to 20 marks for COVID-19 pandemic-related lab work (temporary basis, calculated as working days x 0.05)
- Total: 100 marks
- Shortlisting: 1:2.5 ratio for CBT
- Minimum Qualifying Marks: General-40%, BC-36.5%, EBC-34%, SC/ST/Women/Disabled-32%
- Syllabus to be published on official website; normalization for multi-shift exams
- Experience must be from government institutions; disputes resolved by Bihar SHS
