Eligibility Criteria

• Essential Qualification (Any One):

  1. 12th pass (50%+) with 2-year D.El.Ed.

  2. 12th pass (45%+) with 2-year D.El.Ed (per NCTE 2002).

  3. 12th pass (50%+) with 4-year B.El.Ed.

  4. 12th pass (50%+) with 2-year Diploma in Special Education.

  5. Graduation with 2-year D.El.Ed.

Selection Process

The selection for the post of DSSSB Assistant Teacher (Primary) will be based on a One Tier (Technical/Teaching) Examination.

Key Details of the Written Exam:

• Mode: Objective Type (MCQs)

• Duration: 2 Hours

• Total Questions: 200

• Total Marks: 200

• Sections:

  • Section-A (100 Marks): General Intelligence, Reasoning, Awareness, Arithmetical Ability, English & Hindi Comprehension.

  • Section-B (100 Marks): Subject-specific questions based on the NCTE curriculum and teaching methodology.

• Language: Bilingual (Hindi & English), except for language comprehension sections.

• Negative Marking: Yes, 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

Important Note: There are minimum qualifying marks only for Section-B (Domain Subject). The final merit will be prepared based on the combined marks of Section-A and Section-B. Depending on the job requirements, a Skill Test/Trade Test may also be conducted.
