Eligibility Criteria- Range Forest Officer: Bachelor’s Degree in Science with two or more subjects from Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Forestry, Agriculture.
- Platoon Commander (Male): 12th Pass (Higher Secondary School Certificate).
- Round Forester: 12th Pass or equivalent.
- Police Constable (Male/Female): 10th Pass (SSC) or equivalent.
- Police Constable (Armed Police): 10th Pass or equivalent.
- Police Constable Driver (Grade-III): 10th Pass + Valid Driving Licence (LMV/HMV) + 2 years experience.
- Constable (Greaser): 10th Pass + ITI Diesel Mechanic/Fitter + 2 years experience.
- Constable (Electrician): 10th Pass + ITI Electrician + 2 years experience.
- Forest Guard: 10th Pass or equivalent.
- Assistant Superintendent (Male): 10th Pass or equivalent.
- Warden (Male): 10th Pass or equivalent.
- Matron (Female): 10th Pass or equivalent.
- Lascar (Male): 10th Pass + Swimming Test.
- Escort (Female): 10th Pass or ITI Course.
- Goa Staff Selection Commission (GSSC) Rules Are Valid For Eligibility Criteria.

Exam Pattern- CBT-I (Common for most posts): Reasoning (10 marks), Numerical Ability (10), Konkani (10), English & Comprehension (30). Total: 60 marks, 75 minutes. For screening.
- CBT-II: Varies by post. Generally Reasoning (10), Numerical Ability (10), English (20), Subject Specific (20-40). Total: 60-80 marks, 75-100 minutes. For merit. Variations for posts like Range Forest Officer (Subject Specific 40), Police Driver (Traffic Rules 20), etc.
- Passing Marks: UR 45%, OBC 40%, SC/ST 35%. Konkani mandatory (min 4/10).
- No Negative Marking.
