How to Download AFCAT 02/2025 Admit Card

The admit card is live on the official portal as of 19 August 2025. Follow these steps:

  1. Visit afcat.cdac.in.
  2. Click on “Candidate Login” and select AFCAT 02/2025 cycle.
  3. Log in with your registered email ID and password.
  4. Download the admit card and verify details like exam city, center, and timings.
  5. Print multiple copies for reference.

Carry the admit card, valid ID proof, and photos to the exam center. No entry without it!

AFCAT Exam Pattern 2025

The exam is objective-type and CBT-based:

Question Type: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
No. of Questions: 100
Total Marks: 300
Subjects: General Awareness, Verbal Ability in English, Numerical Ability, Reasoning & Military Aptitude
Duration: 2 Hours
Marking Scheme: +3 for correct answers, -1 for incorrect, no marks for unattempted
Language: English & Hindi
For Technical branches, an additional EKT (Engineering Knowledge Test) of 50 questions (150 marks, 45 minutes) applies.

Selection Process Explained

The multi-stage process ensures only the best are selected:

  1. Written Exam: Qualify AFCAT (and EKT if applicable) with minimum cutoff marks.
  2. Air Force Selection Board (AFSB): Includes psychological tests, group tasks, interviews, and CPSS for Flying Branch. Lasts 5-6 days.
  3. Document Verification: Submit originals to confirm eligibility.
  4. Medical Examination: Conducted at designated centers to check physical and medical fitness.

Final merit list is based on combined scores. Training commences in July 2026 at Air Force Academy.
