- Experience: At least 5 years of regular service as a Private Secretary, Personal Assistant, or Stenographer in a government department, Public Sector Undertaking (PSU), or statutory body. This ensures applicants have practical exposure to administrative and secretarial duties.
- Age Requirements: As mentioned, between 30 and 45 years as on 01/07/2025. SCI offers relaxations for SC/ST (up to 5 years), OBC (3 years), Persons with Disabilities (10 years), Ex-Servicemen, and dependents of Freedom Fighters, following Government of India norms. Departmental candidates from SCI have no upper age limit.
