Application Fee

• Gen /EWS / OBC: ₹1150/- (General), ₹600/- (EWS/OBC Non-Creamy Layer of H.P.)
• SC / ST /PH: ₹325/- (SC/ST/BPL/PWD of H.P.)
• Pay Exam Fee Through Challan Or Net Banking Mode /Through Unified Payments Interface UPI (PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM App, Razorpay, Google Pay).

Eligibility Criteria

• Master’s Degree in concerned subject from UGC recognized university.
• General/EWS: Minimum 55% marks (without rounding off).
• SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/PWD of H.P.: Minimum 50% marks (without rounding off).
• Candidates appearing in final year or awaiting results eligible provisionally.
• Ph.D. holders (pre-19.09.1991): 5% relaxation (55% to 50%).
• Must choose subject of post-graduation; non-listed subjects ineligible.
• Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC)  Rules Are Valid For Eligibility Criteria.

Selection Process

• Offline Written Exam in two papers.
• Paper I: General Awareness & Teaching Aptitude (50 MCQs, 100 Marks, 1 Hour).
• Paper II: Subject Specific (100 MCQs, 200 Marks, 2 Hours).
• No negative marking; qualify top 6% candidates.
• General: ≥40% aggregate; Reserved: ≥35% aggregate.
