Physical Eligibility Criteria

Document Required

Selection Process

The recruitment follows a rigorous, multi-tier system to ensure only the fittest candidates are selected. It’s divided into four stages:

1. Paper 1 (Tier-I CBT): Online objective exam with 200 questions (200 marks) on General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Knowledge, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension. Duration: 2 hours (sectional timing: 15 minutes each). Negative marking: -0.25 per wrong answer.
2. Physical Standard Test (PST) & Physical Endurance Test (PET): Height/chest measurements followed by running/jumping events (gender-specific standards).
3. Paper 2 (Tier-II CBT): 200 questions (200 marks) on English Language & Comprehension. Duration: 2 hours. Negative marking applies.
4. Detailed Medical Examination (DME): Final health check-up post-Paper 2.

Shortlisting for each stage is merit-based. The entire process is bilingual (Hindi/English).
