| Eligibility Criteria- Must be a permanent resident of Uttar Pradesh.
- Currently enrolled in a recognized school, college, or institute.
- Pre-Matric: Only Classes 9-10 students.
- Post-Matric Intermediate: Only Classes 11-12 students.
- Post-Matric Other: Any course beyond Class 12 (excluding Intermediate).
- Aadhaar must be linked to bank account and mobile number.
- Must have passed the previous academic year/exam.

Step 1: One Time Registration (OTR) – Mandatory- Visit https://scholarship.up.gov.in/
- Complete: (A) Mobile Number Authentication → (B) Aadhaar e-KYC → (C) OTR Number Generation
- OTR number will be displayed and sent via SMS
- Note: Only one OTR per student allowed; multiple OTRs may lead to disqualification
Step 2: Fresh Registration- Register using Name, Father’s Name, Institute, and Mobile Number
- Receive unique Registration Number upon success
Step 3: Fill & Submit Application- Log in and enter all details: personal, academic, income, caste, Aadhaar, bank info, etc.
- Upload documents and review carefully before final submission
Step 4: Institute Verification- Institute performs biometric authentication and forwards the form
Step 5: Computerized Scrutiny & District Committee Verification- Automated check followed by manual verification
- Track status (Accepted/Rejected) online
Step 6: Fund Disbursement- Aadhaar-based direct transfer to verified bank accounts
